Mridu means soft or gentle in Bangla, and the shirt lives up to its name. The print is a tiled grid of stitched-look flowers and horseshoe shapes in rose pink, mint and indigo on white, so from a step back it reads as kantha work and up close it is a clean block print.

A short band collar sits over a front placket with small dark diamond buttons. The sleeves are wide and short, finished with a turned band of the same print. Side slits open the hem, which curves and sits a little longer at the back. The cut is straight and relaxed, the same width at the chest and the hem, so it hangs rather than clings.

Made for everyday wear: with jeans, a plain trouser, or tucked loosely into a skirt. A soft, easy shirt for warm days.

Soft, printed, easy

Mridu is named for softness. A white cotton shirt with a stitched-look print in rose, mint and indigo, cut straight and relaxed so it falls the same from chest to hem. Wear it open over a vest, buttoned with jeans, or tucked loosely into trousers.
